This airport is probably most famous for having a beach located at the end of its runway, which creates large and loud gusts of wind and sand for the people on the beach. But the real challenge of this airport is not what you may think. It is not the beach that makes the airport hard to land/take-off from, it is the size of its runway. With only 7150 feet (2,179 meters) they do not have a lot of room to play with. While this might not seem all too short, it still is a big challenge for most aircrafts to land here, considering that most aircrafts normally need at least 2,500 meters. This runway is perfect for the smaller aircrafts to land on, these do not always need a runway of 2,500 meters, but for the bigger aircrafts this runway is a huge obstacle.
